ABOUT ME

I am a software engineer, an innovator, an artist, and a researcher. I am passionate about exploring the convergence of technology and art through the synergistic fields of computer vision, computer graphics, data visualization, and VFX. In my free time, I love traveling, reading, baking,  practicing yoga, and training in Muay Thai kickboxing.

WHAT I'VE DONE

When I was a Computer Science student at Wellesley College, my academic passion was the creative application of computer and graphic technologies to the humanities and to education. I focused my coursework and independent projects around these topics, and in my senior year I completed an Honors Thesis about Virtual Reality as a medium for studying astronomy.

WHAT I DO

I am currently working as a Software Engineer on Disney DTCI's Content Technology team. My work centers around the idea that live data can be integrated into real time visualizations that are exciting, interactive, and informative for viewers. I use tools and languages  including Epic's Unreal Engine 4, JavaScript, Python, SteamVR, and more to help bring data to life on digital, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality platforms.
